KSEA HQ New Staff Introduction

We are excited to introduce new KSEA HQ staff members.

Jahae Yun 
Administrative Associate 
KSEA (Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association)

Jahae Yun has been serving on KSEA tasks since 2020. She started a position supporting the publication team to create KSEA Letters, brochures, and UKC program books. In early 2021, she was appointed to the editorial board’s assistant role to complete the ‘KSEA 50 Years’ history book. She has a MA major in Western Art History and worked with non-profit fine art museums and institutions before joining the team. She would like to contribute her background and experience to make all the publication materials and members’ relationships with an organization more efficiently pleasant. 

Joseph E Kim
IT Manager
KSEA (Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association)

Joseph Kim joined the KSEA HQ team as a full-time IT Manager. He recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, College Park in May 2022. Currently, He is assisting the Finance department with tasks such as reviewing finance requests and reimbursements, issuing checks, and other tasks as needed. Starting at the end of this year, his major roles will be maintaining, managing, and analyzing the followings: websites, web applications, and databases. In addition, he will be performing other IT-related duties, including, but not limited to, computers/network management tasks such as setup, security, updating systems, and data backup.

Some of his key strengths include data analysis, project management, customer-focused teamplay, and sound engineering. Outside of work, he loves to spend time doing live music mixing, working on postproduction, playing board games, and bouldering with friends.
