

On November 10th, the 34th technical seminar organized by the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) Austin chapter unfolded with great success. The event showcased an engaging presentation by Dr. Soaram Kim, an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, jointly affiliated with the Center for Remote Health Technologies and Systems at Texas A&M University.
Dr. Kim captivated the audience with his presentation titled “IoT-based Portable and Wearable Sensors for Remote Health/Environmental Monitoring System.” His talk delved into the realm of biological, chemical, and physical sensor development for remote health and environmental monitoring systems, shedding light on cutting-edge research.
The seminar, spanning approximately one hour, provided valuable scientific insights to around 30 graduate students and researchers from the University of Texas at Austin and Angelo State University. The audience, comprising both in-person and online participants, collectively shared in a collaborative and meaningful experience, enriching their understanding of the advancements in the field.
