The 2024 Annual Meeting of the Korean Transportation Association in America (KOTAA) unfolded at the Washington DC Convention Center on January 7th, 2024. Hosting more than 160 participants, the event served as a hub for sharing research ideas and networking on diverse transportation-related issues. Distinguished figures such as the President of the Korean Society of Transportation (KST) and the President of the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Agency Advancement (KAIA) graced the occasion with congratulatory speeches. Within the framework of the KOTAA 2024 meeting, the association bestowed travel grant awards upon over 50 graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, fostering enthusiasm for research among emerging professionals. The annual gathering played a pivotal role in promoting scientific collaboration, offering valuable opportunities for career development and mentorship for transportation engineers and researchers.
