The KSEA Chicagoland Open Seminar is an exceptional program that aims to introduce research to its members through speakers from diverse fields and provide them with valuable information. Recently, the program held its 34th seminar, which featured Dr. Chongwoo Yu as the keynote speaker. Dr. Yu, a current clinical pharmacology expert who has more than 20 years of experience in drug discovery and development, shared his career journey from academia to his current position and how it evolved over time. He also emphasized the importance of networking through seminars and internships to advance one’s career.
Prior to Dr. Yu’s keynote speech, postdoc and graduate students presented their research in the form of poster presentations. Among them, Dahee Jung selected one poster for the Best Poster award. The poster presentations provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn about the latest research in pharmaceutical science fields and interact with the presenters.
