(Chair Wooram Park, VP1 Jeho Park)

The KSEA National Art Contest was held in Spring 2024 for K-12 students in the U.S. In April, the art theme “Sailing around our new world” was announced through the email advertisement and the event website https://art.ksea.org.

230 students were registered in the contest, and 160 students submitted their work in May. In the artwork, the participating students visualized their imagination on the new world with science and technology. The KSEA art committee recruited 7 art professionals as judges. 9 more judges were invited from the KSEA personnel groups such as admins, volunteers, and staff. Through the judging process, five top entries for each division were chosen. 20 award winners from 4 divisions (elementary 1, elementary 2, middle, and high) were selected.

On May 18, 2024, the award list was released through email and on the event website.

The 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners in each division received the certificate of award and the prize money $300, $200 and $100 respectively. The 4th, and 5th place winners in each division received the certificate of award for honorable mention. The KSEA gave the honorarium $150 to each judge. Two judges graciously donated the honorarium to KSEA, and one judge to KSEA North Texas Chapter. The list of awardees and their artwork are posted on the event website as well as on the virtual gallery at https://3d.camilleworld.com/e/?idx=255.
