Boston, MA – The US-Korea Industrial Technology Cooperation Forum, a collaborative effort supported by KEIT (Korean Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology) and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Boston, convened on May 30th at the prestigious Best Western Plus New Englander hotel.
Distinguished speakers from the fields of robotics and batteries graced the event, providing a platform for in-depth discussions on the latest technological advancements.
Deputy Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Boston, along with approximately 30 Korean scientists and technologists from the local Boston area, participated actively, emphasizing the crucial role of technological exchange amidst the rapidly evolving global landscape.
Esteemed speakers such as Tom Ryden, Executive Director at MassRobotics, and Kwangseek Moon, Battery Expert, captivated the audience with their insightful contributions.
The event, organized by the New England KSEA Chapter and KEIT, marks the beginning of an annual tradition aimed at fostering US-Korea technological exchange, recognizing the vibrant technology ecosystem flourishing in the Boston metropolitan area.
한미 산업 기술 협력포럼이 KEIT (한국 산업기술 평가관리원) 와 주 보스톤 한국 총영사관 지원으로 5월30일, Best Western Plus New Englander 에서 개최되었습니다. 이번 포럼에서는 로봇, 배터리 분야의 연사분이 참석해 주셨고, 최신 기술 동향에 대해서 의논하는 기회가 되었습니다.
보스톤 주재 부 총영사관님이 참석해주셔서 한국과 미술과의 기술교류가 급변하는 세계정세에서 얼마나 중요한지를 이야기해주셨고, 보스톤 근처에서 일하시는 한국계 과학자와 기술자분들이 약 30분 정도 참석해 주셔서 토론을 주도해 주셨습니다. 연사로는 Tom Ryden – Executive Director at MassRobotics 와 Kwangseek Moon – Battery Expert, 두분이 수고해주셨습니다.
뉴잉글랜드 KSEA지부와 KEIT는 이번기회로 보스톤 근교에 기술기업들이 많은 만큼, 매년 한미 기술 교류를 위한 포럼을 개최할 예정입니다.
