NC Chapter Boosts Community Engagement Through Successful Membership Events

The KSEA North Carolina Chapter recently held a series of successful community and membership engagement events aimed at strengthening connections and expanding its member base. Among the highlights was a collaborative Yard Sale event held on May 31, 2025, co-hosted with St. Ha-Sang Paul Jung Catholic Church. The event attracted around 60 local attendees and served as both a fundraiser and a platform for membership outreach.

In addition to the Yard Sale, the chapter hosted a college preparation and coaching session specifically designed for high school seniors and their parents. Led by the chapter director and CP, this session offered valuable guidance on the college transition process and provided a space for families to connect and ask questions.

Further strengthening its presence, the NC Chapter also conducted multiple small group meetings and campus-based outreach with local students from Duke University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH), and North Carolina State University (NCSU). These gatherings created spaces for dialogue, community-building, and sharing the value of chapter membership.

Altogether, these initiatives engaged 35 members and their families. As a direct result, 16 new members joined the NC Chapter, while 10 existing members renewed their memberships—demonstrating strong community interest and support for the chapter’s mission.

The NC Chapter looks forward to continuing its outreach and educational programs to foster an even more vibrant and connected membership base.
