2025 Joint Workshop on Future Manufacturing Research and International Collaboration

The 2025 Joint Workshop on Future Manufacturing Research and International Collaboration brought together emerging scholars, seasoned experts, and institutional leaders to foster dialogue on cutting-edge manufacturing research and global partnership opportunities. Held on June 24, 2025, in Greenville, South Carolina, during the MSEC 2025 / NAMRC 53 conference, this collaborative event was co-organized by MAKER (Manufacturing Alliance of Korean Engineers and Researchers), the Korean Society of Manufacturing Technology Engineers (KSMTE), and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT).

Designed to support the next generation of innovators and strengthen cross-border research networks, the workshop featured a Young Researcher Workshop, a panel discussion on research careers and international collaboration, and a networking dinner. The program highlighted diverse perspectives on the evolving landscape of global manufacturing, providing participants with valuable mentorship, career insights, and opportunities to build lasting professional connections.
